Some new stuff on the net
June 13, 2005Systm is a new “IT programme” that is distibuted LEGALLY through Bittorrent. It currently has only 2 episodes BUT, it will have a new episode uploaded on the net every week. Systm is produced by a few young adults who are previously hosts of G4tv’s The Screensavers. I’ve watched the first 2 episodes and I can say that its a very interesting programme. The first episode teaches you to build a wireless camera detector while the second episode is about building your own MythTV box (I’m not really good at giving reviews so I’m not going to elaborate more, the best is to download and watch it on your own).
The second “stuff” is not very new, its been around for more than a year. Blogshares is a fantasy stock market where blogs are treated as companies, to make things less complicated, its similar to Econs. You can trade shares, bonds, artefacts etc.
However, when I went to “list” my blog, I got a shock! I found out that both my present and previous blogs are already listed in Blogshares! Furthermore, Jermin’s blog is also listed in it. Hence I went to do something lame, that is to claim back my present blog and request to “delist” my previous blog. I’ve successfully “claimed back” my blog while it requires some time for my previous blog to be “delisted”.
